If you thought last week’s featured watch was cray, wait til you see this work of art right here. Harry Winston, an American jeweler who is also the previous owner of the Hope Diamond, is well-known for his high-demand jewelry, and for extremely limited edition watches like these. This baby, Opus 7, is made from 98g of rhodium-plated 18k white gold, and features a movement that is reminiscent of the Hermes Le Temps Suspendu, in that it does not display the time automatically. Instead, with two pushes of the crown, the correct time is displayed in subsequent hours, then minutes, on the blacked-out dial at right. This is impressive because even though you are not constantly viewing the correct time, the watch’s internals are always keeping it for you. Featuring a 34-jewel movement, and a limited edition of only 50 pieces, this watch is a steal if you happen to have a spare $189,000 laying around. Check it out below and at Harry Winston’s Official Website.
