This week, we have new music from Lil’ Wayne, Drake, Mac Miller, and new videos from both Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa. Strap on your seatbelts – because it’s Music Monday.
***
First up this week we have French Montana with the new video for his all-star banger “Pop That”, which was featured in last week’s Music Mondays. This video features the likes of Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil’ Wayne, and features all of them tearing it up by the pool with all the video-girl eye candy you could handle. It seriously looks like it would be a great time on set with these guys. Check out the video for “Pop That” above.
Our next feature is a Swag Section regular, and is in the process of something called Pink Slime that we will be on the lookout for soon. This cat is Mac Miller, and here he is in his new song “America (Welcome To)” featuring Casey Veggies and Joey Badass. This video was (appropriately) dropped on the 4th of July, and has been on heavy rotation on our screens ever since. The imagery is actually dope, and the trippy directing style definitely makes this one a hit. We thought it was fresh, let us know what you think below.
This is for all you stoners out there. Snoop and Wiz, or, “Mac and Devin”, have teamed up for a video from their latest release High School. You may remember this LP dropping sometime last year and now we finally have some visuals, this time for the song “French Inhale”. This one features the two basically doing what the do best: smoking and rapping. You can catch a couple smoking tricks from Wiz in there, and a whole lot of what gives the song it’s namesake. Practice your inflow, and check out “French Inhale” above.
Of course we had to feature Juicy J on this post, or it wouldn’t be a true rap star party! (After all, we did use the word “trippy” without his permission.) Either way, that is enough reason to dismiss the perfuse ignorance of his raps ang just enjoy the music right? Oh well, even if not, we can at least put the song volume on mute and enjoy the video. Check out Juicy J in his newest video for “I’m Ballin.” TRIPPY!
Last up this week we have Curren$y, who is no stranger to Music Mondays at all. This week, we have his newest video fr “Showroom” from his latest album The Stoned Immaculate. Admittedly, the hangar/garage based videos are getting a little played, but what the video lacks, the song makes up for in dopeness. I love how the song starts out slow at the beginning, but halfway through you’re whirling through Curren$y’s world of bad broads and cars while simultaneously looking at the real thing. That to me never gets old. So as the last feature in this week’s Music Monday, check him out in “Showroom.” Stay tuned for next week. lot’s more new music and videos coming your way.
