Alright, so it has recently come to the internet’s attention that Pusha-T’s recent single “Exodus 23:1″ is a thinly-veiled diss-tracked aimed at none other than Young Money Cash Money’s Drizzy Drake. With lines like “Contract all f***ed up / I guess that means you all f***ed up / You signed to one n****, that’s signed to another n****, that’s signed to three n****s / Now that’s bad luck,” it’s easy to see how speculators could point their noses to Drake: after all, this would be the second so called “diss-track” aimed toward the rapper ,after Pusha releases a freestyle over Drake’s “Dreams Money Can Buy last fall, sincerely re-titled “Don’t Fuck With Me”.
Why the two are beefing, I don’t quite understand, but here is Pusha’s song so you can make the call yourself…
Meanwhile, the big homie Lil’ Wayne has not taken too kindly to Pusha’s words about his protege, tweeting: “fuk pusha t and anybody that love em” Thursday night on Twitter (@LilTuneChi), and then releasing a song called “Goulish” the very next night, aimed right back at Pusha. He begins it by saying :”Fuck Pusha T and anybody that love ’em/His head up his ass, I’ma have to head butt him” – not the most menacing threat Wayne could have concocted, but I guess the quickness of response is what’s important here. Here’s Wayne’s track for further examination….
Now, Pusha-T’s manager has decided to hop in it, tweeting in response to the Wayne’s track: “Wayne’s diss softer than my next door neighbor B,” followed by this photoshopped image of Drake:

Now things are starting to get ugly.
Fellow G.O.O.D. Music label mate Kid Cudi took to Twitter in defense of Pusha as well, saying: “I love my n**** Pusha T, f*** anybody who feel different. We ain’t ho’s out here.” (@WizardCud). (Apparently Twitter is the REAL battleground for rappers these days)
This all seems to be blowing up right now, and who knows who’s about to step in next, but I would just like to point out one piece of factual evidence that makes this entire beef nil in my opinion……
Above is footage from the MTV show When I Was 17 from two years ago, where Drake says he actually SOUGHT OUT and PAID for used Clipse memorabilia on the internet. I wonder how he’s going to respond to Pusha’s diss after paying $200 for his autograph on a microphone a few years back. Awkward.
More details as this story unfolds…
