You know the drill: we compile, you watch/listen. This Monday’s no different, so tune in for this weekly dose of Internet fire.

First up we have official T.G.O.D. member Chevy Woods with his most recent mixtape, Gangland. The appropriately titled tape reminds us that Wiz Khalifa is not the only member of his highly promoted Taylor Gang, and Chevy Woods definitely holds merit with the crew. This is his first project since last summer’s The Cookout which was a semi-bumpable effort, but featured Wiz on almost every other track. This one marks a clear step up for Chevy though: even from the first track you can hear that he’s cleaned up his sound, with saxophone riffs and 80′s synth riffs working seamlessly together, with a polished-up flow to match. Like he says: “It’s one thing to act cool, it’s another thing to just be it.” Wiz still turns up quite a bit on this one, but with the likes of Juicy J and the rest of the Gang (who knew there were MORE Gang members), it is a pleasant surprise. Overall this tape is decent, so I would suggest taking a listen and then heading over to HNHH and giving it a download, I did.
Next we have last week’s feature and Swag Section favorite, Curren$y featuring 2 Chainz in their new song “Capitol.” The song, which is just a synonym for his name, is about just what you would expect, money and Swag. But for some reason, listening to Curren$y talk about money just never gets old to me. All things aside though, the video iss very well done, which is always a reason to watch in my opinion. Check out Curren$y The Hot Spitta and 2 Chainz in “Capitol” below:

“La Musica de Harry Fraud.” Taylor Gang and the J.E.T.S. just seem to be everywhere right now. This time Wiz has teamed up with Chevy and homeboy Berner for his new joint, “OZs & LB”, produced by none other than Harry Fraud himself. You might remember Harry from the joint “New Jack” by Smoke DZA a while back. Listen as he hit’s the chill stick over this track and layers some guitar stringing over some orchestral bass-beats. You’s have to hear it to believe it. Also, Berner also actually delivers on this track. That’s a first. Check out Wiz Khalifa’s “OZ’s & Lbs” below:
Florida-rapper Ace Hood has come out with some new visuals for the song A Hustler’s prayer” off of his latest project, Starvation from earlier this summer. As a Florida native, I am always supportive of the local scene – but I must say that Ace Hood would stand out as an artist no matter where he came from. The kid’s got bars. It seems that fellow We The Best label mate DJ Khaled and Birdman over at YMCMB have noticed as well, which is why they have been propelling him to his recent success lately.

Last up, we have a couple of emcees I think everyone should know about. They are a couple of artists that I know personally who go by the name ”The Kreux”. They are two guys whom I met on the local scene and found a real connection with, only to find out that thier music is dope as well. This is their second mixtape, called “2 Stupid Kidz” which is a play on the oldschool Cartoon Network’s “2 Stupid Dogs” program. The mixtape takes on the theme of this classic show, and showcases the two emcees’ (Igar and J.Marx) lyrical ability and verbal chemistry, as they go in over signature tracks “2 Stupid Kids” (title track), and ”Dreamin” on the mixtape. This entire tape is dope, and definitely one of many things that we’re sure to be hearing from “The Kreux” in the near future.
