It’s been a while since we’ve heard any new music from Lana Del Rey, but her music videos have been on a different level lately, and this one’s no different. With her latest epic featuring A$AP Rocky, for the song “National Anthem”, Del Rey has been steadily racking up the videos titles to her credit, and each one seems to get more solid than the last. Some of these videos include “Blue Jeans” and the album’s title track “Born To Die”, which were featured in our March Obsession of The Month on Lana Del Rey. We over here at The Swag Section have taken a liking to Del Rey, and she has yet to let us down.
Here she is in her first video not involving a male as the love-interest (thank God.) But who does she choose instead? Actress Jamie King (Blow, Sin City), who is the suicidal ex-girlfriend that drives the two apart. This video may be my favorite of them all, and it’s needless to say both Jamie King and Lana Del Rey being in it don’t hurt either. look forward to seeing (and hearing) much more from Del Rey in the next few months.
